Complete Restoration System

Roof Restoration is the complete rejuvenation of the entire roof that can significantly extend the life of your roof. This is considered a major repair of your roof system. Our restoration team is trained to identify and refurbish major deficiencies before a costly replacement is necessary. This is a 3G ROOFING specialty and will usually cost you less than half as much as a full replacement.
Our complete Restoration system is for all types of metal, built-up (smooth or gravel), and most single-ply roofs and can last the life of the building with proper maintenance.  Here are a few reasons why our system has an advantage over the other options on the market:

1. Light Weight

Our composite system does not overload the roof structure.  Therefore it is not necessary to tear-off the old roof system which eliminates costly down time during the restoration process.  It also allows for additional layers to be added in the future enabling the system to work indefinitely.

2. Flexible

Our system easily conforms to any surface following the contours of every type of roof including everything from standing seam metal to rough built-up surfaces that had been covered with gravel.  Unlike fiberglass reinforcement used in most built-up roofs, our system uses a special stitch-bond polyester mat that does not turn brittle as the roof ages.  It stays flexible and moves with the roof surface in all seasons.

3. Fully Reinforced

Unlike most spray on roof coatings our system is fully reinforced with stitch-bond polyester mat embedded in the cold applied asphalt.  The polyester mat is to the asphalt what the fiberglass is to the resin in the marine world.  Without fiberglass resin would crack, chip, and become brittle.  It is also true for roof coatings without full reinforcement (not just at the seams) the roof coating soon cracks as the roof undergoes constant movement.

4. Fully Adhered and Multi-Layered

Our composite system works with the same principle as the traditional built-up asphalt roof which has a track record of over 150 years as a proven roof with some roofs lasting as long as 75 years, but uses the best polymer cold asphalts in the industry combined with a lightweight, but strong stitch-bond polyester mat.  This system is fully adhered to the existing roof surface with multiple layers to the existing roof surface with multiple layers of protection, eliminating the possibility of water entering in one area and then “running” to another area of the roof (increasing the damage area from the leak).  Roof coverings that are not fully adhered are subject not only to wind damage but also to condensation build up in between roof layers which in time causes severe damage.

5. Maintainable

One of the best advantages our system has is that it is easily maintained.  No expensive heat welding guns are necessary to make repairs around new stacks or ac systems installed after the restoration is complete.  Unlike most single ply systems, our composite system does not need special walkways installed to protect it from foot traffic and does not easily puncture from hail or items being dropped on it.  Nevertheless, if for some reason it does puncture, it is easily and quickly repaired (no special tools required).  With simple proper maintenance our composite roof system should be the last system you ever have to try.

6. Energy Efficient

The top layer of our composite system is an ENERGY STAR® reflective coating installed after the cold process asphalt coating has cured (usually between 1-3 weeks).  This reflective coating is very valuable in that it reflects harmful UV rays away from the roof surface both protecting the asphalt system and cooling the roof’s surface temperature.  This results in lower inside temperatures, decreasing the energy consumption necessary to run the building’s air conditioning system.

7. Better Guarantee

Some companies may offer a 20 year or more warranty on their roof, but you need to carefully read the fine print.  Only the material is under warranty, the installation (labor) is usually only covered for a few years and when things start going wrong, usually due to faulty installation or a lack of maintenance, the manufacturer blames the installer, the installer blames the manufacturer and unfortunately the customer is usually left to pay for costly repairs or a new roof altogether.  Our material and our labor are included for the duration of the contract and all of our warranties are extendable.  We would be glad to service your roof indefinitely.  Call for more information and a free estimate.

8. Payment Plans Available

If you need a complete restoration now, but need some time to pay, we can usually help qualified customers.  We can divide up to 50% of the contract price into monthly payments for 6 – 24 months.  We don’t want you to have to wait another year to have your roof fully restored… call us today!
